A Little July 4th Color

Here is a little color to celebrate Independence Day with.  I haven't a clue what this flower is called, but it reminded me of little fireworks bursting.

My Favorite Flower

While I love a variety of flowers, my favorite flower since childhood has been the snapdragon.  I'm not sure what it is about this velvety flower, but it has always had a special place in my garden.

Some Local Wildlife...

Unfortunately, I have had the flu since last Friday.  So I've been house-bound since then and haven't been able to get out and take any photographs.  However, the cabin fever reached it's peak and I had to get outside.  With my camera bag, I spent an hour out and about, and I managed to capture a little bit of the local wildlife.
