These are some dahlia shots from Hovander's Dahlia Garden. There are quite a few that I took and will be posting, but these are the ones I've processed thus far.

Yesterday we spent a good portion of the day walking around Hovander Park - an old working farm open to the public. They have not only the open wheat fields and grazing animals, but they have an amazing dahlia garden, vegetable garden, and all sorts of barnyard animals. All this set with an enormous Victorian mansion at the heart (and one of the biggest barns I have ever seen!). With camera in hand, I managed to make the most of our visit. However, I've already received promises we'll be heading back later this week for a picnic and photography adventure. I'm really looking forward to it.
