Another Exciting Project...

I have another exciting project in the works. This time I'm doing this project was one of my best friends in this universe - Margot. We're calling it Fridays and it will basically be a year-long photographic journal of our Fridays. What is really spectacular about this project is that not only am I doing it with Margot, but that while I live here in the United States - Margot lives in Australia.

We've created a blog which will be basically our working canvas for this project. Neither of us are going to know what photograph each other will post each Friday - which only adds to the fun. Our goal is to publish this into a book at the end of the year, but I strong encourage you to stop by the blog and check it out. Give us your feedback (and support). It's going to be fun!

Exciting Project!

I have a new, exciting project that I'm working on. It is a book called Sista! The Estrogen Connection, and it will be a photographic journey celebrating the connections women make with each other. I'll be taking portraits through 2009 with a projected publication date of 2010. This is so exciting!

If you are a woman and are interested in participating with your Sistas or know women who would be interested, please don't hesitate to contact me. For more information on the project, you can check out the project's blog or website.

Peppermint Loofah Soap

Another product shot. This soap is the best soap in the universe. Handmade, the soap is the only soap I use. And, it just happens to be made by my mum.

Truffles and Rosettes

These are product shots I did of products produced by a local chocolatier. I'm not a big fan of truffles. In fact, I detest them. However, the rosettes were perfection!

Coyote in Pose

The other day we were out by Tennant Lake and the sun was setting. In a field, I caught sight of this coyote. I was too far away to get a really decent shot, but I did get this one - which has been liberally cropped.
