Hostas - Bleach Bypassing

I'm having a little too much fun with bleach bypassing as a form of processing the photographs I've been taking lately. The top image is the regularly processed image, while the image below I used the bleach bypassing technique on. I think it looks a lot better. More dramatic. What do you think?

I agree, I like the second one better. It smooths the highlights and looks great! What's bleach bypassing?

Hi, Gwendolyn and Desi:

Bleach Bypassing is a filtering effect. I use a program (Tiffen dFX) to accomplish it. It requires some minor tweaking, but I love the washed out effect.
